would you hand a contract to so they can make a come back album?

I would say The Pet Shop Boys. They were always one of my favorite groups, and I think they could do something that would fit nicely into this era. I know they are still technically a band, but they are nowhere near as popular now, as they were back then. :)

Other than that, if I had to choose a musician who you never hear from anymore, I would have to say Taylor Dayne. I absolutely loved her music back in the day, and wouldn't mind hearing from her again!

Well, I guess she is also still around, I just found her website and realized that she has new music!  :)

The Pet Shop Boys would definitely be a good choice!

My pick would be the Hooters. "And We Danced" Is one of my favorites.

Van Halen already made their comeback.  Their 2012 album 'A Different Kind of Truth' featured David Lee Roth back as singer.  It sailed into the Top 40 around the world and the single 'Tattoo' hit #1 on the Billboard rock chart

Seconded.  But since that's taken, I'll go with Blancmange.  Sparse enough, electro enough, they could update their sound easily enough to fit with the 10s.

Except that they did it last year, and it was awesome.

Musically it's rich, even quite complex at times. Lyrically, Arthur recounts tales of the banalities of everyday life, sometimes with a dark wit, often in a narrative style; like some kind of caffeinated The Streets. Speaking of caffeine, I'm Having A Coffee is like a diary. Curiously, it works. But the caffeine really kicks in on the next track Don't Let These Days, its upbeat rhythm being led by African percussions and synths. Radio Therapy is mellow enough to please new agers, while The Western, featuring Pandit Dinesh on percussion, clearly has their older fans in mind. It picks up where they left off over 25 years ago, revisiting their biggest hit Living On The Ceiling. And maybe that's why it's the best track on the album.

  - Talia Soghomonian, review of Blancmange's Blanc Burn.

Fine.  I'll go with Cabaret Voltaire.  Sparse enough, electro enough, they could update their sound easily enough to fit with the 10s.

But that Blancmange album?  That was worth waiting 25 years for.

Talk Talk. Thing is, they'd never accept. Mark Hollis is a very private man and seems to have zero interest in releasing new music, let alone reforming his old band.

I would say the Thompson Twins provided that they all want to do it.  But I don't see it happening since they all live in different places.  Alanah lives in New Zeland, Tom lives in England, and Joe lives in Los Angeles.

Oh yeah that would be pretty cool.
