A film title would help us answer this. In all truth, I think the first movie to really foreshadow the Internet would be WarGames, just like The Running Man foreshadowed RealityTV/Sensationalism. I mean really, take a good look back at the both of them.

It's interesting how in the 80s, everyone thought Japan was going to be the next superpower, then they had their Lost Years. I wonder if the rise of China will also prove to be a mirage.

Siri IMO, is not that impressive. She's better than the AI I programmed on my computer ('Fred') but not by too much. She definitely wouldn't pass the Turing test.
