What a GREAT (pre Top Gun Val Kilmer) flick! Tears for Fears, Comsat Angels, Bryan Adams, The Call, Y & T for a soundtrack. Love it!!!

It's been sooooo long since I watched that flick.
Probably since the 80's on HBO. I can't recall too much about the movie I think I only saw it once or twice.
For some reason, lasers and Jiffy Pop are what I think of when seeing the movie title!
My all time favorite Kilmer movie was Top Secret though. That one I haven't seen in a long time either, but I've seen it around a dozen times so I doubt I'll ever forget it. "Souvenirs, Novelties, Party tricks" "What fake dog poo?"

Real Genius is a great flick. "I'm Falling" by The Comsat Angels reached #90 in the UK chart
"One Night Love Affair" by Bryan Adams is also heard (during the pool/party scene), and though it already had appeared on his album 'Reckless', it never became a single/hit until after it was used in this movie!
