Here's some I can think of:

Madonna
Kylie Minogue
Bon Jovi
U2
Radiohead (yes, they formed in '85)
Red Hot Chili Peppers

Will Smith (who began as half the duo 'DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince' in 1985, at age 17). He hasn't done much music performing lately, but he's still active and popular as an actor.

U2
INXS (I think that they should have stopped after Michael died but then that's just me)
Tears For Fears
Duran Duran (They're missing Andy Taylor but that's okay)
The Cars
Guns N Roses (Axl and his band of rotating musicians as I like to call them)
Spandau Ballet
Loverboy (Yes Loverboy is still at it even without Scott Smith)

Disregard INXS.  It appears that JD Fortune is out again.  :(

None of them are still popular though.  I asked the guy at HMV if the new Platinum Blonde CD was selling, and he said they hadn't sold one copy yet.  I was the first to buy one
