Poison Arrow

How to Be a Millionaire
The Look of Love
Be Near Me
All of My Heart

My favorite ABC song is not on the poll -

4 Ever 2 Gether

co-written with Anne Dudley.  Everybody seems to overlook this one.  I can't even find a studio version of it on YouTube.

The whole album "Lexicon of Love" is awesome.  It's one of the best records of the eighties!

Here is another great song from it:  Date Stamp

I'd forgotten about "4ever 2gether". It was a good song.  I agree that Lexicon of love was a very good album.

I love most of ABC's early stuff.

I eventually chose 'When Smokey Sings' from 1987 but a special mention goes to the little known 'King Without a Crown' which I think was on the 'Alphabet City' album - Great stuff.  :)

Alphabet City was my favourite ABC album.  I wanted to put King Without A Crown as my first pick, but I didn't know of that song until the 80s were long over

A very good album, a comeback of sorts after Martin Fry recovered from Hodgkins Disease.

I'm in the same boat as you there. I first heard 'King Without a Crown' around 1990/1991 when my dad played the Alphabet City LP on his record player while I was living with my nan and grandad. Wonderful memories. :)

'All Of My Heart' was wonderful, as was the flip side 'Overture' which was an orchestral mash-up of songs from the LP scored by the aforementioned Anne Dudley (at the time she was a mere 25 years old and did all the orchestral arrangements - quite remarkable!)

I went with Poison Arrow, yet I would have gone with Date Stamp if listed,
but it was never released as a single.
The Look of Love would also get a vote from me, too.
