Subject: Are Talk Talk the most underrated band ever?

Spirit of Eden is an amazing album. I think it's just as good as Dark Side of the Moon! It seems like Talk Talk are a "musician's band", in the sense that it seems like musicians know about them but the general public does not.
It takes a couple listens to fully appreciate, but I really think Spirit of Eden might be the best album ever. It's my favorite album of the '80s.

The only other song I know of theirs, btw, is their self-titled song. ("Talk talk, talk talk, all you do is talk talk!")

Yes, that's the one I was referring to.
So yes, I know only two of their songs: "Talk Talk" and "It's My Life."

Their last three albums are a lot better than their first two IMO, though they are definitely less accessible in terms of being instantly catchy.

I really enjoy Talk Talk and I even have Spirit of Eden on CD, but I always thought it was kind of a boring album.

I thought so too, but then I listened to it a few times and it really grew on me! Colour of Spring might be their best, though.
