Subject: Mama's Family

I just watched this for the first time in several years. I forgot how funny it is. I giggled so much. Anybody else like it or love it in my case?

I grew up watching it. The Family Feud episode is one of my favourite sitcom episodes of any TV show ever!
Mama's Family originally only ran for 2 seasons (1983-1984). Reruns did so well, it got picked up for syndication where it ran 4 more years (1986-1990). Much of the recurring cast was written out for syndication, which had it's ups and downs.
I liked Bubba better than I did Vint's kids Buzz and Sonya. I missed Ed, Eunice and Ellen. They were great the way they played off each other. I also liked Aunt Fran, but when they wrote her out in Season 3, you didn't really miss her

Bubba is so funny. I like season 3 on better than 1-2.

He's dead. There are times when she talks while coming out of a room.
Anyone remember the first season with Carol Burnett and Betty White?

One of the funniest episodes was when Mama worked at the Raytown Travel Agency. ;D ;D ;D

LOVE IT.
I used to watch reruns of it all the time as a kid and teen. I think I liked Iola the best. She was just so nervous all the time, bless her. LOL.
