The list doesn't mention "Repo Man" which also came out in 1984. A terrific movie!

don't know if I've even seen 5 of these movies. I know I liked seeing Ghost busters and Police Academy

Sorry, Spock. I'd have loved to have been able to vote for Star Trek III as well, but somebody had to be #6. Beverly Hills Cop, Purple Rain, The Neverending Story, Splash, Dune, Top Secret!, The Terminator, and Amadeus were all good, too. I also liked Dreamscape
