Subject: Dunkin Donuts Radio commercials

Written By: W1DGL on 01/03/18 at 6:35 pm

I wish I could find the series of 1980s/1990s DD RADIO commercials that aired in the New England area (specifically on CT radio stations) featured the "brain" talking to the various other parts of the body about the different DD products (e.g., coffees, donut holes, etc.).
Many of them were absolutely hilarious especially when it got to the 'punch line'!  ;D
If anyone knows of links to audio files of them, please feel free to email me with them.  8)

Are donuts too big to dunk into a cup of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate?

No not at all, I once in a while like to dip it in coffee and it tastes delicious soggy.

A Dunkin' Donuts just opened up near me. Is it any good? It looks expensive, and with such pricey options, I'm guessing the portions must be massive too, which I don't like. :o

You haven't been to one before? Well, a small coffee is about $1.39 plus tax and I think a doughnut if that's what you fancy is over a dollar.

What are you in the mood for?

I have just discovered there is a Dunkin' Donuts 3 miles from me, I will visit one day.

I was thinking of getting French toast for breakfast but it was $10. The portions must be huge at that price, and I don't want breakfast to be my only meal for the day. ;D

They have really delicious breakfast items but they're quite fattening. When I'm there I just order simple... small coffee and a doughnut, that's about it.

Kinda like how Kentucky Fried Chicken changed their name to KFC. Hey, maybe if we don't mention that our chicken is fried, the people will forget that little fact!
