Apart from her deadly daddy, Judith Barsi was getting tired of having to play 4-7 year olds in live action when she was pretty much 10. voice acting would have meant a lot more opportunities. She didn't want to wear that stupid dress in "Bottle Time Baby" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHNOWhDs3ZM) but they made her.

I remember her well from Punky Brewster and Remington Steele - probably my two most favourite 80s shows - no joke.
Funnily enough, when I originally watched "Land Before Time", I thought Ducky was voiced by Raven-Symoné, who kinda had the same voice when she was in The Cosby Show. Didn't realise it wasn't her til today.

Imagine being jealous of your own daughter because she's making more money than you are? There was a failure on the part of CPS and Judith's own mother to protect her daughter and for what reason? Because she didn't want to be alone?
Damn! If I had a nickel for every abused woman who didn't want to leave their abuser because they didn't want to be alone I'd be rich. She didn't even want to protect herself or her daughter.
