Subject: Hey, did anyone see this?

Written By: Lizzie on 04/27/02 at 07:43 p.m.

I noticed that in 1996 cartoon network the best cartoons were on.Or atleast in my opinion.I enjoyed paw paw bears, smurfs, snorkles, & original cartoons were the powerful cartoons everyone loved. Then 1997 they stopped playing those & replaced them with johnny bravo, cow & chicken, very very VERY stupid cartoons like space coast with batman & toonsami in the afternoons(the program that offered anime).Sailormoon was catchy for a moment but after all the violents I heard & saw, I stopped watching it.Did the 80s end in 1997?

I agree with you.  Just like Nickelodeon (which has few cartoons I like anymore)

The only cartoons I watch are Spongebob, Rugrats :-[, The Brak Show (if it's ever on), South Park, and any MTV cartoons. I've almost completely stopped watching Nickelodeon, because of some homosexual themes on the channel (The Barenaked Ladies singers kissed on "All That".)

There's a difference between stupid-stupid and funny-stupid. Funny stupid are shows like Space Ghost C2C, THe Brak Show, & Spongebob. Stupid-stupid are shows like Johnny Bravo, Cow & Chicken, and Ed Edd & Eddy (although I find it sometimes funny).

I usually don't watch cartoons any more.

Yep.  (I would have said that, but was too lazy to type.  ;)) I can remember when Nick and Cartoon Network used to have GOOD shows ( :o ) which is hard to believe.  "Courage the Cowardly Dog" and "Cow and Chicken" just don't suit me.  Like Junior, I hardly watch cartoons anymore.  I hardly watch TV anymore, let alone cartoons.. I do watch "Adult Swim" and "The Brothers Garcia" (shoot me).  IMO, they have pretty much ruined Nick and CTN. (Oh, I do watch SpongeBob!  Who doesn't??)
