That's good to hear, I just hope the market isn't so saturated by style spinoffs that people won't want to watch it.

on the very first season of Ren and Stimpy my step mom did the background art. If you watch the old ones, it has her name in the credits...some of the names I can think of are Nurse Stimpy & Fire Dogs. Her name is Cheri Pederson.

Subject: Ren & Stimpy: Adult Party Cartoon

The first episode (of the revamped series) was OK.
(obiviously, it had different writers)
Though I am a fan of crass humor.
("South Park", "There's Something About Mary", "Not Another Teen Movie", etc.)
I liked the fact that "Dr. Stupid" was included.
I hope it'll include classic characters like Mr. Horse, Muddy Mudskipper, Power Toastman, the couple who's faces are never shown, etc. in future episodes.
The only difference was the fact the humor is more perverted & discusting.
I also liked the fact The New TNN aired "Man's Best Friend", which got banned from Nickelodeon in 1992, in their preview special.

"Man's Best Friend" was when Ren hits his master with an oar.
Nickelodeon thought it was too violent and sadistic.
Or because the master's name is George Liquor.
(His name was mentioned on the show)

On a serious note, I really hated the show 1st time I saw it, when Ren went to the dentist and his bloody rotten teeth fell out. I grew to love it after I saw the episode when they came to America from the old country, like from Slobovia or something?

I saw one of the "Adult Cartoon Party" shows last night. It was one of the goriest episodes ever. Ren goes too far in hurting Stimpy, and the guilt-ridden dog decides to see a shrink (Mr. Horse) and tells him his childhood of torturing other animals. If you like lots of blood, gore, torture and vomiting, then it might be your cup of tea. Otherwise, beware! :-X

yea, theyre bringing back old episodes with the scenes that were cut/edited because of Nickelodeon(or episodes that were just plain banned) and of course they have the new ones with more dirtiness and gore. The new ones i don't care too much for, but i'd like to see how the old ones were supposed to be.

I didn't like that particular story, especially when the frog shoots himself. It looks like John K. is trumpeting suicides as well as homosexuality (again not that there's anything wrong with that ::) )

Even though the new ones are gonna be just plain dirty and nasty, I can tolerate them, although I prefer the old ones.
