I'm fairly surprised that no one mentioned "The Shawshank Redemption" as one of their favorites of the '90s.  If you have not seen it, I highly recommend it.  It is a prison drama spanning 30 years in the lives of Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman.  It builds to an unforgettable climax, and will leave you with a smile.  In fact, I recently did a parody of Don Henley's "The End of the Innocence" about the Shawshank Redemption in the most recent of DarkJon's games.  If you look at the parody (which isn't meant to be funny), it will give you a decent idea at what the movie is about.

The most inspiring movie of all time, in my humble opinion.  TNT and TBS show it 80 times a week but I'd try to catch all 80 showings if I could...especially when Andy finally gets his freedom.  Should've beaten out Forrest Gump for best picture, but the Academy is full of rich deluded b*****ds  >:(

My favourite movie of the 90's was definitly Titanic.  Today, it doesn't look as good, but it's still great.

I remember that I was in Gr. 5 and I was in this "Titanic Mania" before the movie was released.  I even did my speech on it that year.  Actually, I said my Titanic speech infront of the school the day Titanic came out to theatres (Good timing).  I believe the movie came out on Dec 14th if I remember correctly.

-Forrest Gump , Rain man, and contact, with Jodie foster
End Quote

Rain Man was actually made in 1986 I believe. It doesn't matter though because that is one of my absolute favorite movies of any decade.

I loved Pulp Fiction, Forrest Gump, Titanic, Clerks, Mallrats, Wedding Singer, There's Something About Mary,Detroit Rock City, Lion King, Ever After, Groundhog Day, Friday, and I also loved Cruel Intentions......Ryan Phillipe,  :-* (Drool)

Well, thats my list for right now, If I actually thought about it I could come up with a bunch more but that would take all day!!!

Rain Man came out in 1988. Yes, it wasn't a 90's movie.
