Subject: What rappers have re-done Nena's- 99 Red Balloons

Hey.. I've been trying to find a rap song for a long time that I used to hear as a kid in the early to mid 90's.
It had the beat of Nena's-99 Red balloons with slow rap over top of the beat. The story of the song was something like a guy trying to make up with his girlf friend and something about "taking a drive to see the countryside"...... "I'm hoping you won't be made at me" ....sorry this is so vague, but it does have the 99 Red balloons beat... It was re-done by John Forte and Wyclef John a few years ago as the song "Flash the message"...... but I'm trying to one that came before that...

The song was sampled by rappers Wycleff Jean and John Forte. John Forte and Wycleff rapped over it but I forgot the lady's name who had the singing parts in the 1998 hit/remake.
