Subject: A unique Top Ten

Written By: Stradiwhovius on 10/30/02 at 01:16 p.m.

Here is a top ten I've compiled.
Top Ten What?....... I'm not sure.
Maybe top ten songs that were really good by great bands that seemed to have slipped through the cracks.
Whenever I read or hear about 90's music I hardly ever hear these Bands and or songs mentioned.

Hum- Stars
P.U.S.A- Mach 5
Dig-Unlucky Friend
Ghost of An American Airman-King Of Nothing
Jesus Jones- Right Here Right Now
School of Fish- 3 Strange Days
Driving And Crying - Fly Me Courageous
Jane Addiction  - Been Caught Stealing
Lucas - Lucas with The Lid Off
Saigon Kick- The Lizard

What do you all think.
Give me your opinons on these entries.
I personaly loved all of these a great deal!
If any body else can think of some bands that kind of fit this category please post them.

Great top 10, Strad.   :)

I always forget about the Lucas track.  Dig it...

I always liked DAG's album "Righteous"; they're a little more regional where I live --the album is great IMO.

I don't know about the others, but I still hear "Been Caught Stealing" quite a lot.

Ya Know , you are right, perhaps Janes addiction isn't a great example for my category, They do still get alot of air play. After thinking a bit more , I thought of a few others that could go on list.
How about:
The Stone Roses = Love Spreads
Dinosaur Jr. = Feel The Pain
Big Wreck = The Oaf

I forgot "Stutter" by Elastica.

Side note:  Indy Gent's list has confirmed my theory that he is one seriously indie gent.

From watching MTV's 120 Minutes and listening to indie rock programs, I'd say I would agree. ;D
