Subject: The Best Music Video Of All Time, IMO

Written By: X on 01/05/03 at 09:43 a.m.

The best music video of all time, in my opinion, is Carmen Electra's "2-4-6-8". If you've seen it, you know why!

Carmen Electra? She's nice to look at but sing? no. Its between Bone Thugs N' Harmony when they did "Crossroads" video and The Police when they did "Every Breath You Take" video. Honorable mentions: Taken On Me-A-Ha, Never Gonna Give You Up-Lisa Stansfield, and Enjoy The Silence-Depeche Mode. I also enjoy the Stone Temple Pilots "Creep" video as well.

"Save A Prayer" by Duran Duran

No "chick" factor, I know.

But the visuals and locations in Sri Lanka were breathtaking.

It's a video that is simply, even to this day, beautifully done.  :)

Hmm.. despite being a big fan myself of John and John (plus the band of Dans), I couldn't really put any of those videos into the top slot of "Best Of All Time"...

I think there was too much freaky jerky dancing and running around...  ::)

Heck, even the "Boss Of Me" video was better.

Black Or White from Michael Jackson was a pretty good 90's video.

I don't know if it's the BEST video of all time, but "Give it Away" by RHCP gets an honorable mention.  And believe it or not, I think "Justify My Love" by Madonna was pretty good too.  But that's just MY opinion  :P

All time favourite would be "Weapon of Choice" by Fatboy Slim, as it features Christopher Walken doing a funky little dance around an airport!
That is from 2001, though.  My best 90's videos are all George Michael - Outside, Father Figure, Too Funky, Freedom 90 and Fast Love.  All so cool  :)
