I remeber the Laff-A-Lympics?  Is that what you are thinking of?  The Three Caballeros was cool and so were the Chipmunks.

I remember Raggedy Ann and Andy. I even remember that Didi Conn did the voice of Raggedy Ann. (Don't ask me how I remember that.)

I remember vaguely the Alvin and the Chipmunks and Felix the Cat movies. I think I remember seeing each of those a few times in my childhood....

I remember watching a commercial for Alvin and The Chipmunks greatest hits when I was little girl. I always thought Uptown Girl was their song until I heard of Billy Joel. Haha! :)

I used to regularly watch the Chipmunks cartoon and also the Little Bits!  That was great! It had a weird family living on a boat and the "mother" was really evil!

I loved David the Gnome! I remember his pointy red hat and that fox, Swift, that he always rode around on.
Hey, is the Mouse and His Son about a mouse that some guy made but it turned out looking like a rabbit?  I vagely remember an animated movie about a toy mouse that magically came alive, but he looked like a tiny rabbit.  He wandered around all over the place and he eventually met a manx cat and a bunch of colored ghosts or something.  I loved that weird show, but I can't remember much else.

I just finished watching an episode of "Family Guy" and Peter had one of his twisted flashbacks of a cartoon I used to watch as a kid.  It had all the super heroes (Superman, Wonder Woman (remember that show  ;) , etc) .. something about the Hall of Justice.  I can remember the flashing stars and the sound effect on the screen between scenes.

(Oops, hit "post" by accident).  To add to my previous message; that was back when I can remember watching "The Planet Of The Apes" and "Star Trek" cartoons.  Both very short lived.

I remember David The Gnome. He rode on a fox he rescued from a bear trap. I always felt really bad, cause they always showed the fox in the trap, and his leg was all screwed up. I just remembered his name, "Swift". That's probably the only reason I ever learned that word. Looking back on it, that was kind of a weird show, wasn't it?

I remember both David and the gnomes (I think Tom Boseley of Happy days was the voice for David) and Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Does anybody remember two cartoons - these are obscure! Alfred J Kwak and Sharkey and George - the crime fighters of the sea? :D

I loved Sharkey and George - the theme tune was the best. Thankfully that came back mid-90s, around 1995-6, so my younger bro got to see them for the first time! Nice to see that he also took an interest in what I had enjoyed so many years before - 4, approximately.

Thanks for the memory, remember The Chipmonks, early 90s, my 4 year old loved them.  Anyone remember that strange animation on MTV of the super heros, all freaks, like one guy had a knife through his head?  Also Eon Flux, what was she, like half insect, half hot babe?

Nyuk nyuk. Not a Peter Chung fan, I take it?

He also is responsible for the character design of "Reign" (a.k.a. "Alexander"), a story based on the life on Alexander the Great.

Also one of the Animatrix short films.

The MTV oddities! yea those cartoons were weird. I liked Eon Flux, but this one episode makes me feel all quesy, at the end she tries to get through this kinda gate thing but as she jumps through somethin comes out and cuts off her legs.

Yikes, Eon Flux was dark and scary.  What was that other cartoon where the dude had a huge claw face, and in one world he was a street bum and in the alternate universe a king?  There was this shabby unpopular girl that knew his secret, it was a cool, but dark animation.  someone mentioned Peter Chung as the creator of these?

Galaxy High school was the best cartoon in the mid to late 80s.

It involved two earthlings (Doyle and Aimee) who were sent out into space to go to school with aliens. Aliens I remember include 'Gilda Gossip','Booey Bubblehead','Flat Freddy' and 'Beef Bonk'.

It was Aeon Flux on Liquid Television - MTV's animation special.  I love "Reign" and similar to Aeon the story can be difficult to follow at times.  I have the first four episodes of Reign on DVD and had to watch them a few times to get the timeline in sync.
