Great band...

As far as favorite songs go, Seeing Stars is very cool, it was on the Follow You Down single.  A close second would be Angels Tonight.

Um, well, The Gin Blossoms were alright and all.

Two songs I kind of liked were " Till I hear it from you ' and " Found out about you ".

They reunited about a year ago or so and and have been playing gigs periodically.  I guess the word is that they are working on new material, but I think they are playing the older stuff at the shows right now.  They did have a DVD released last fall though, as well as an album full of b-sides and previously unreleased songs...

They played a festival here last October and were pretty good.  I've always liked them though.  I don't really have a favorite.  I just sing along to all of them. :)
I even managed to get my Gin Blossoms shirt autographed.  Had to push all the teeny-boppers out of the way first but I got it.  ;D

A highly underrated group.  Should have gotten the acclaim that went to boremeisters like Teenage Fanclub.

Favorite songs--

"Found Out About You"
"Till I Hear it From You"

I listened to them back in the "Until I Fall Away" days.  Musically, I compare them to Collective Soul, which isn't a bad thing at all.

I never hear them on the radio or on MTV anymore, and the only song name I know is " Hey Jealousy".

The main reason for them not being on the radio/MTV is their last studio album was released back in '96.  Whether or not any new material will be played on the radio in the future, I don't know.

I like the whole "New Miserable Experience" album.

They called it quits for a while. The songwriter/guitar-player committed suicide after a long bout with depression. Unbelievable. This was the same songwriter of such beautiful songs...
