I graduated high school in 1993.  I remember all that like it was yesterday.  I feel so old.  :(

Back in '93 when I was a high school kid of 17, 18 I know what I thought of 1983 when I was 7, 8 years old.  Perception of the passage of time changes as you get older.  You go through the years like tissue paper as you get older.  10 years just doesn't feel the way it did when I was 17, back when 1 year felt like an eternity.

Wow its hard to believe all that happened 10 years ago already.  How time really flies.  It all seemed like yesterday.

Yup that's one of the crappy parts of getting older, that the perception of the years going by don't travel at the same speed as they did when you were under 17.  I'm a just a little younger then you Chris, I graduated high school in 1996.  I know what you mean about going through the years like "tissue".  You always heard about this and that this is the way it will be as adults when you are growing up as a kid, but I never understood it until I actually started going through the years like they were nothing.  I don't think anyone understands it until they experience it.
