Subject: TGIF's original 4 shows?

Written By: Mark Heberling on 02/28/03 at 12:04 a.m.

Ok TGIF's original line up was as follows.

8:00 - Full House
8:30 - Family Matters?
9:00 - Perfect Strangers
9:30 - ?

There is one more show there but It's not Step - Step and it's not going places.  They both didn't start till the 90's.  The line up I have above is the last I can remember.  I still have questions about family Matters, it might not have started till the second season of ABC.  Other possible shows are Mr. Belvedere and Just the 10 of us!

And another thing Perfect Stranges and Full House my have switched time slots in the beginning!

I'm pretty sure it's Mr. Belvedere, but I really can't help you there, since I'm not old enough to remember.  I only remember watching TGIF around the years 1992-1997.  Man, that was good.  I remember Full House, Family Matters, Hangin' With Mr. Cooper, Step By Step, and Boy Meets World.  Then I remember 20/20 with Barbara Walters came on after TGIF.  Too bad ABC doesn't show good stuff on Friday nights anymore.   :-/

I remember one time they had a theme for their shows-each one went back into time. I remember Boy Meets World went back to the 40s. There was a show about a genie that went back to the 50s or 60s, I can't remember which one. I really can't remember the other 2.

When I first saw your post, I only remembered the first 3 as well. But when you mentioned just the 10 of us that rang a bell. i think that is it.
