Subject: DJ Tanner fashion late 80's/early 90's

One of the main reasons that I used to watch the TV show 'Full House', was to see what kind of outfits DJ Tanner (Candice Cameron) was wearing.  I thought that her clothes (costuming for the show) was so cool.  Any other chicks out there used to dig DJ's closet?  Oh, and I also liked Jamie Powell's clothes too (Nicole Eggert on 'Charles in Charge').

As a guy, I have to admit that I didn't pay too much attention to what Dj (or anyone else for that matter) was wearing, but now that I think about it, she did look cool in some of the stuff she wore.  8)

I liked DJ's clothes, but I remember liking Stephanie's more because she was closer in age to me (the character of Stephanie was only one year ahead of me in school).  I remember her having the coolest clothes toward the end of the show when she started hanging out with Gia.

I'm also a guy, and I didn't pay too much attention to what DJ and/or Stephanie were wearing, but I do have to admit that I kinda liked some of their outfits in a way. The character of Stephaine was two years behind me in school, so she was closer to me in age than DJ (who was three ahead).

The main reason I watched the show was that I thought it was funny as well as interesting. I gotta watch it on Nick @ Nite sometime; it was one of my favorite shows of the early 90s (I was an avid watcher between mid-1991 and late 1992), and I also enjoyed it in reruns.

I remember a 1989 episode where DJ got a blue sweater for Valentines Day. Unfortunately, she set it down in a place where it got torn to shreds by a lawnmower (so that she wouldn't sweat all over it), so Stephanie stole one just like it from the store. I kinda liked how she rolled up the bottom of it to hide the security tag; when Danny asked her why she had the bottom rolled, she told him, "It's the new style"; so the rest of the family wore their shirts like that when they went out.

There was an episode from early 1992 where Stephanie wears one of DJ's purple sweaters. At one scene in the grocery store, Steph accidentally squirts mustard on it, so she washes it at home, only to shrink it in the dryer. I forget what happens at the end; it's been so long since I've seen it.

I think somewhere in this episode Michelle winds up wearing it and DJ says, "Hey, I have a sweater just like that."  I don't remember exactly how it ends, but I do remember that part.
