I honestly can't stand that guy. He's not funny, he's just snobbish and annoying. He's in my top ten of people I'd like to bitch slap.

Shaz, there is nothing wrong with you.  Most people do like him...I happen to be one of the ones who can't stand him, though.

Yeah, I wanna b!tch-slap George and, sometimes, Elaine. As the characters they portray AND the real people... those two are worse in real-life than the people they portray!

Jerry IS stuck up, but he's still good for a nod of acknowledgement. He's funny and writes good comedy.

I like Kramer.He's such a nutcase.I wouldn't want him as my next door neighbor. ;D

I really like Seinfeld. The reruns are about one of the only few things I will watch on TV.I've dealt with Jerry before he had the show and he's quite nice.The show only portrays various real, ordinary characteristics of people, just like it's supposed to do.There are many other popular shows that I can't stand though.

The show portrays real people from Jerry's life and, of course, since it's showbiz they get nil from it, but Jerry's funny. I don't know why I feel compelled to watch that guy on TV. Normally, guys like Jerry drive me off the wall insane, but this one is funny.

Yes, some of the episodes are riddled with stupidity, the characters represent a myriad of snobbish, selfish, self-absorbed attitudes and the elders are "nut jobs". Some of the content of the show is based, to a lesser degree, on things out there in the real world. Exaggerated? Sure. Funny? Absolutely, unless offended. It all just needs to be taken with a grain of salt. Afterall, they are just actors and it is just a show.

Im with you Floyd.  Jerry Seinfeld is simply NOT FUNNY.  His stand up sucks and his sit-com wasnt even mildly funny to me.
He is one of the most overrated comedians in recent history  IMO

The show has some entertaining value, but I think it was for the other characters more than Jerry for me.  I can't handle people who whine, it drives me nuts.  

But I give him credit for the show and many entertaining characters.

I like the show. Especially Kramer, he's a nutjob. But that's what makes him funny.

As for Jerry, I think he's funny too.

I think the characters and the show are ho-hum and stupid, to boot.  I'd rather wash dishes that watch Seinfeld.  ;D

I got the jokes, it's just they weren't funny. It's the most overrated show of the nineties. I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like it.

I loved Seinfeld!  I like dry & senseless humor, I guess  :)

Nothing wrong about not liking 'Seinfeld' or Seinfeld of real life. But several who dislike it just don't get it. It was the joy of these four getting there comeuppance every week due to their vanities and trivial pursuits. And let's face it, we know worse people than these in real life. ;)

jerry is a blankety blank blank, so i could never watch the show. someone told me that all his jokes are basically the same.
