Subject: What did you bring to college in the 1990's?

I'm doing a project and I'd love to hear about the crazy stuff you HAD to HAVE in your dorm room. Did you bring stereos, clothes, TV's, VCR's, etc.?
Did you share items with your roommate(s)?

Well let's see....
My roommate rented a microwave and I brought a minifridge...
I had my computer, a few sets of running/basketball shoes...my hockey equipment...my stereo...
We didn't have a TV/VCR though, just kinda borrowed other people's.
Our neighbor, on the other hand...huge guitar collection, big amplifiers, drum sets, basses, saxophones...total music nuts.
One of our neighbors also had the biggest collection of hashpipes I had ever seen. Plus a five-foot bong. Awesome.

A microwave, my guitar and the cool new rasberry blue blowpops...a whole case of them.

well, technically it was 89, but we had a mini-fridge, microwave, stereo system, glow in the dark sheets, and a small area rug.

A couple of pairs of Levis and a fifth of Jack Black, but that was in the 70s.

My first college roommate hung up all of these posters of half dressed men... I retaliated with posters of Freddy Kruger and Pinhead (from Hellraiser)... Other than that, I had just some crazy stuff, like a lava lamp and a strobe light and a glow in the dark plastic skull with a stetson hat... needless to say, my first roommate joined a sorority house and moved out as soon as she could...

i went at the very end of the 90s (99-2000 was my frosh year) and i just brought normal stuff... my computer, my care-bear that i've had since i was 2, and my clothes.... Nothing special..... =)
