An insult Madonna made up about all the pop stars/artists that came & go during Madonna's two decade career.
"They're quicker than than a ray of light" or something...

Madonna didn't actually write that song! It was an old English song from the 60's. The male songwriter of it (I can't remember his name) was thinking about suing her for royalties. I don't know if he ever did.
It was all over the English media at the time. Considering it was written in the 60's it maybe had drug connotations???
