Subject: "Justify My Love" (Madonna) Video
Remember the Madonna video ("Justify My Love") from 1990 that was banned from MTV, VH1, etc. And was released as a video single. The video was considered very risque'. IMO, it's tame by today's standards.If shown now, the video would be edited by blurring some images.
It now can be seen on MTV2's "Most Controversial Videos", which airs some banned (from MTV) videos and uncut versions of (then) controversial clips.
Any thoughts about the video?
BTW, I don't care for the video. I only bought this topic up for some opinions. Good Or Bad. My favorite Madonna videos are avtually "Material Girl" & "Like A Prayer".

I didn't think much of the video or the song. It just seemed to me as just another way of Madonna to exploit sex in the pop mainstream of music.
I mean, does anyone really beleive that this track really was a milestone in music? Its' O.K., I'll grant you, but nothing ground breaking.
I thought it was just a ploy to compliment the "Sex" book that everyone was buying at the time.
I remember, I was working at a D.C. record store, and having to come in early to unpack the boxes of the book (that was sealed in foil) to sell that Xmas.
Mostly a lot of hype, though expertly managed by Madonna. She certainly knew how to market and "sell" herself.

It wasn't her best work, was somewhat controversial and definitely overrated, but I think she's done much worse over the years. Just think of that "American Pie" cover. :P :P I'm sure Don McLean must've cringed, even if she did revive his tune to a new generation.

Agree. 8) The worst Madonna video to date has to be her duet with Britney Spears. :P
And the "Like A Prayer" video is one of her best.
