Subject: Dance music of the early 90s

Written By: CosmicGirl2000 on 1/26/2000 at 10:31 p.m.

I am a dance music fanatic, and all thru-out the 90s, I was in dance and on drill team in high school, and got a first hand taste in all the new dance trax! I loved the dance music of the very early 90s the best. 1991 and 1992 had some of the coolest, prettiest dance tunes ever! If anyone else digs early 90s dance music, one cd you should DEFINATELY check out is Cathy Dennis' "Into the Skyline". You might be able to find it at a used record store now, because it's been out of print for years. It originally came out in 1992, and it has some of the most positive, and prettiest songs I've ever heard with an awesome dance groove! I think dance music was at it's "freshest" peak back then. Now, most of the dance music (or electronica-I still won't use that term!) is way to "hardcore" and to drum 'n bass driven. Anyway, I was just curious if anyone else dug (and still digs) early 90s dance music??

Peace, Lori
