Subject: An interesting rumour I heard

Written By: Thomas Parnell on 2/29/2000 at 11:09 a.m.

I heard that the vocals on the first two Oasis albums were really old demos recorded by John Lennon on the day of his shooting and that they overdub Liam when they perform live.

If you listen carefully you can hear a gunshot at the end of 'Champagne Supernova' and a cry of "fookin' 'ell Yoko, I've been shot!".

This is only a rumour, but you have to admit it sounds convincing. Can anybody help?

Thats right... many people have commented that if you play the song backwards at ten times the speed, invert it and add the relevant words, you can hear "Hang on ... I've got a new chord...its C"
