I think the reason that you feel lost is because you are holding on too tightly to the past.Sure times were cool growing up but its not that its uncool now. It's just different. The world is growing and you if you don't grow with it, you will miss so much new cool stuff. have you ever seen somebody whose hair and clothes were out of style? Well, you don't want to be that chick do you? It's possible to change with the times without changing who you are. Of course you should remember the past. Thats what made you who you are today.Just because you stopped getting taller doesn't mean you have to stop growing up.

I'm probably the same age as you so i totally know where you're coming from. But i think things are much better now.I'm saving tons of cash on hair care products.the clothes are much more flattering to my little figure(impossible to find a size 0 in the 80's). The tunes are heavier, and you can swear on tv.

Snap out of it,kid. There are better happening now and whats cooler...you're of age now! enjoy life......squish

Squish - Impossible to find a size "0" in the 80's? Did you have the store "Petite Street" in your area? (it's now called "5-7-9"). I wore a size "0" in the early 80's, and I got my jeans and stuff from them. I wish I was a size "0" again LOL.
