I can't help you with melrose place because i stopped watching it after the second season, but ask me anything about 90210 and i can help because the entire 10 years i never and i mean never missed an episode. sorry

You should check out a site like www.egroups.com. They probably have a group dedicated to Melrose Place. I belong to a view groups and people will post that they are willing to sell copies of their tapes. Good Luck!
