The dog "Chance" in the movie Homeward Bound: Incredible Journey, is it an American Bulldog.
My sons says it is. Is he right?

Chance is definately an American Bulldog. A not so rare breed anymore. Their recent popularity has taken on some bad owners and a bad rap in the vein of the Staffordshire terrier. The dogs are a little bigger and more Boxerlike in apperance than the Staff, and have an overall good disposition unless raised by an unscupulous or unwise owner. I have personally rescued many and have found most individuals to be very sweet. Here's a site with pics.
