Subject: A song from a movie
I'm going crazy trying to find the soundtrack from the movie, "This Boy's Life," with Leonardo Dicaprio, circa 1993.
There's a song in it that I can't stop hearing in my head, and I want to find out about this artist. I was only able to barely catch the credits as they zoomed by, and I didn't have the movie taped, so I couldn't really make it out, but is seems that the song is "Wild One" or "Wild Child" -- from the fifties. It's not "Wild One" by Jerry Lee Lewis. The singer's name seems to be "Ivan."
No search on any of the CD sites yields any Ivans, except for a contemporary Latino singer and somone who plays classical music.
I must know!

Here is what I found. The song is "Real Wild Child" by Ivan. From what I found, Ivan is actually Buddy Holly.
The song was first done by Johnny O'Keefe of Australia. He co-wrote it.
It was also redone in 86 by Iggy Pop, off his album "Blah Blah Blah." Other people have covered it, but I will not go into that.
