lounge act is my favorite right now-- but i go through different nirvana song phases every week. i also love lithium, dumb, on a plain, rape me... i even like smells like teen spirit. i know people dont ussually choose that song because it was so over played, but i still really like it.

i do love all apologies, about a girl, and come as you are-- but i listened to them to death! i guess i got sick of it.

oh yea- also im bloom and you know youre right.

'Lithium' is always a good 'un.

'Heart Shaped Box' is great too.

I can't decide as they are so different.

I personally think 'You Know You're Right' is the best song they ever did. I believe it was also the last song Kurt recorded.

My choice: "About A Girl"

I love "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and I also loved "Come As You Are". I did love the Weird Al Yancovic parady of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" which he changed to "Smells Like Nivarna" from 1992.

Heart-Shaped Box.  Why is "Come as You Are" so popular?  Its gold but it's not one of Nirvana's standouts.

I thought "Smells Like Teen Spirit" might've been more popular.

It is so damn hard to chose a song when all of Nirvanas songs are great.
I chose "The Man Who Sold The World" because Kurts voice is so beautiful and haunting on that track...

Heart Shaped Box

This was so hard cuz I love ALL of Nirvana's songs.    But to break away from the stereotypical "Smells like Teen Spirit,"  I have to say "You Know You're Right"    (although LIthium is pretty close too)

Heart Shaped Box, I love the arrangement and the lyrics are haunting and mysterious.

Voted for Smells Like Teen Spirit.

Is The Man Who Sold The World the David Bowie song?

I voted for 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' as it's the only one which I know sounds like.  It's not a song I care for, but in it's own way, it's somewhat catchy

I like some of their stuff, but "Smells Like Teen Spirit" is probably the one that really changed my feelings about grunge.

"Come as you are" and "All Apologies." I remember hearing the latter shortly before Kurt's' Suicide.

You left out a few other popular songs of theirs, such as "In Bloom" and "Lithium". I can't pick just one, so I'm torn between these:

In Bloom
Come As You Are
All Apologies

As for "Smells Like Teen Spirit", I've never heard Weird Al's parody of it, but I do know the words to it, from looking them up on a site back in 2000.
