I went for "Jesus Christ Pose", but I'm also partial to "Black Hole Sun", "Rusty Cage", "Searching With My Good Eye Closed", "Room A Thousand Years Wide", "Fell on Black Days" and "Big Dumb Sex", just because it is big and dumb. :)

Soundgarden rules! Chris Cornell is absolutely brilliant!
I love all those songs up there, but if I have to pick just one, I say Rusty Cage.
I love Badmotorfinger, that album's just so heavy!

My pick is definately Outshined. Chris Cornell shows his range in that song and the rest of the band is great. The way he sings the word " sinking " is awesome and trademark alternative. Black Hole Sun is too repetitive and slow ( the worst is Blow Up The Outside World for being repetitive ). Spoonman is probably the worst Soundgarden song that got regular airplay.
2nd pick is Burden In My Hand
PS- I have an odd fascination with " Ty Cobb " ( Hot Rod Death Toll ). :)

Superunknown was certainly their most popular and commercially successful CD, but Badmotorfinger was their best by far. Outshined, Burden In My Hand and Rusty Cage were superb. Superunknown had some good songs, but just didn't have the same edge as Badmotorfinger did. Black Hole Song is way overplayed, Fell On Black Days and The Day I Tried To Live were stunners though.

Fresh Tendrils is also a great one from Superunknown. Certainly better than Spoonman or Black Hole Sun.

Now this is what I call a rock band! I completely agree with chaka, Superunknown's one of their best tracks. Cornell's voice on that is incredible! I think Like Suicide and Room A Thousand Years Wide should've been among the choices. Like Suicide's my personal favourite, but off the list I go for the brilliance of Rusty Cage.

Soundgarden were effing great! Too bad they broke up (Audioslave is alright, bt they're no where near as good as SG)

My favourite song by Soundgarden is "pretty Noose" though from the choices in the poll i would pick Black Hole sun............it has a good melody :)
