The 90's Neons had a cooler design, IMHO.
They had more personality than the newer ones. 8)

If I was to buy a Neon, I'd get the new 215-hp SRT model.

I loved the old Neons,they had that SMILING front end! And they originally came in more color variations. Wonder why they changed a car that was successful as it was?

I was totally OBSESSED with the NEON during the '90s because I thought it was cool(the smiling grille and headlights and all the colors it came in!)!When I finally got to ride in one,I was surprised at the roomy interior in a small car. It was comfortable even for a person of size like me! Did you know the NEON used to have a color option called 'NITRO YELLOW-GREEN'?What a wild color!

I like the newer ones.
But up here in Canada they changed the name to the SX 2.0. I think Neon sounded just a little too woosy.

I never understood the big thing aboout the Neon back then. I guess it was just too cute for its own good.

I have a 2003 Neon. I like the newer model, not to say the older model wasn't cool. I'll admit there are a lot of new...ugly cars out there today but the Neon, I can say, has a distinct look that makes it badass. I have recently put about $16,000 into my Neon. 8)
