Good songs, ktel. 8)
I think these are also good 1998 songs...
Make It With You/Take A Chance (On Me) - Alma
Save Tonight - Eagle-Eye Cherry
Inside Out - Eve 6
Ray of Light - Madonna (the only thing I like from her since 1989)
Closing Time - Semisonic
If we list any songs not for 1998 then "..." (ellipsis) dude or dudette will let us know. ::)
Also...
some people have repeatedly made the comment on this message board that music started to go downhill in the late '90s. They may be right, because I know I could think of more than 5 good songs for any pre-1997 year. ???

I loved that song when it came out. It sounded very 80s-ish. I got tired of it though after hearing it about 200 times.

Out Of My Head - Fastball (or was that 1999?)
That song was a hit in August 1999, although its album, All The Pain Money Can Buy, was released sixteen months earlier (April '98). I like it.

I don't know that one. It probably wasn't a hit in the United States, at least in my neck of the woods. ::)

Cruel Summer-Ace of Base
As much as I like Ace of Base's music (especially their debut album from '93), that's one I don't like. They ruined one of my favourite 80's songs. >:(
