I voted for Chris Rock, My other favorites are Adam Sandler, Jim Carrey, Harland Williams, Jerry Seinfeld, Ben Stiller, Jack Black, and Mike Myers.

I vote for Dana Carvey. His work with Saturday Night Live in the early 90's is classic. Put Carvey and Hartman together, and it's all over...

tough call, Jim Carrey is ok, Adam Sandler movies are a riot along with his time on SNL, Seinfeld was one of my favorite sitcoms of all time but Jerry on his own didn't impress me much. :)

Phil Hartman is also one of my favorites, especially as Lionel Hutz and Troy McClure on The Simpsons.

Without a doubt, Denis Leary is my favorite comedian of the 90's. The other night my brother and I were watching No cure for Cancer and it's still as funny and biting as it was 12 years ago when it came out. what made his comedy so hilarious was its relatability and his pissed off rants. He also had hilarious expressions on his face. Long live Denis Leary!

Adam Sandler...I thought his "Hanukkah Song"s were funny, as well as his "Thanksgiving Song" and "Ode To My Car" (it's funny to hear those car horns in place of the expletives!). I also enjoyed the movie "Wedding Singer" (in which he stars as the title character). ;D
Some of the other guys that have been mentioned, I think they're funny too.

He is one of my favorites too! I also like the film The Ref! I even saw the Denis Leary Roast on TV awhile back, it was funny! But my favorite Denis Leary bit is the song, ***hole.

Jerry Seinfeld's show was garbage, but he's still the greatest at stand-up. OTOH, you guys left out Tim Allen, Jeff Foxworthy, and Ray Romano.

Here's an interview that Jim did on Much Music in July 1994. I believe that it was Natalie Richard who was interviewing him. He was talking about how all over the place Andy Kauffman was when he became annoyed when the office phone was ringing and nobody was answering the phone so he could continue talking.
"WILL SOMEONE ANSWER THE PHONE?"?
"OKAY! I'VE GOT IT!"!
