Okay, there was this alien or something made out of pizza ... it might of been made in the eighties I'm not sure, but people would eat pieces of the pizza alien.

Maybe you're thinking of Spaceballs, the Mel Brooks spoof of Star Wars and other sci-fi movies. There was a character that parodied Jabba The Hut called "Pizza The Hut," and he was made out of pizza. (He wound up meeting his demise by eating himself.)

Not sure--I'm guessing '86 or '87.
