Subject: Boy Meets World

Written By: Full_House_Fan on 02/28/05 at 4:26 pm

When this show cancelled in 2000 it was like the last real 20th century family sitcom.  Great show, like Growing Pains only better.  Eric Matthews is 50% funnier then Mike Seaver imo.  Although Growing Pains was good too until 1989 when they casted Leonardo DeCRAPrio and led to the show's cancellation in 1992. Oddly enough, Boy Meets World premiered a year after Growing Pains ended.

That's the thing about pre-95 shows... they were almost ALL preachy and they all had morals and lessons. Cartoons were the same.

I loved Captain Planet, and I think it should be on still. It had a great message. Cartoons today are all about boogers and juvenile hijinx with hardly any lessons. Ed, Edd & Eddy is a good example of what I mean.`

I just couldn't get into it.

See, I liked Ben's older brother Fred...from the wonder years (my favorite show of all time)

Here was his little bro, who was younger than me...and I just couldn't get into it.

Man, I wish they'd bring back the wonder years
