Anyone remember a show on Disney or Nick where a guy would crawl through a hollow log and play guitar and sing to a frog or lizard in a tree. It wasn't under the umbrella tree.

There was a show in Canada called Fred Penner's Place, which aired on CBC from 1987-1999 that sounds like the show which you described.

that is totally it!! my sister used to watch that show when she was little....
I always remember him singing a song about "chewing gum losing it flavor after sitting on a bedpost overnight" LOL!!!
