Out of what's given it looks like I only like

Snap Rhythm is a dancer 1993
Ace Of Base The Sign 1994
Madonna Ray Of Light 1998

and picked "Snap Rhythm is a dancer 1993"

Of the ones listed I'm gonna have to go with Ace Of Base's "The Sign." There were lots of other really great dance songs from the 90's; I've listed a dozen or so in the "Favorite Dance Songs from 1990-93" thread.

I picked Gina G's Ooh Aah.. I love that song. I was definitely a club kid in the 90s. Don't forget Robin S.'s Show Me Love, too!

Of the ones listed up there, I picked Paula Abdul's "Promise of a New Day".

But you forgot to mention all the great Euro/techno songs from the 90s, as someone already said. In your list, you included La Bouche and Snap, but you left out many other great groups, like 2 Unlimited, the Real McCoy, Funfactory, and N-Trance, just to name a few.

I'd say it's a toss up between 2 Unlimited and the Real McCoy as to who the best dance group of the 90s was. 2 Unlimited had songs like "Get Ready for This" and "No Limits", and Real McCoy had songs like "Another Night", "Runaway" and "Automatic Lover".

Overall, I'd say 2 Unlimited's "No Limits" is the best dance song from the 90s(my signature line gives away how much I like that song!).

I liked Madonna's "Vogue" and "Ray of Light" and Janet Jackson's "If."  I also loved:

Twilight Zone 2 Unlimited
Love U More Sunscreem
Everybody's Free to Feel Good (who sang this one?  I'm pretty sure it came out in '92)
Good Vibrations  Mark Wahlberg
100% Pure Love  Crystal Waters
One More Night  Amber

I'm sure there are more but that's all I can think of right now...

I like that one too... I didn't know there was another mix of that. :-\\

"Connected"--Stereo MC's~1993
"Too Many Walls"--Cathy Dennis~1991 :D 8) :)
"I Love Your Smile"--Shanice~1991 8)

Another good dance song is 'Sadeness Part 1' by Enigma from 1991 - it had a slightly different sound from other songs on the radio at that time, which makes it pretty cool, IMO.  :)

That's because most of the "vocals" are actually Gregorian chants. I love listening to that one too. ;)

Enigma had another hit in 1994 with "Return To Innocence."

I also have to choose other because I also love any single from Scooter, "One More Time" from The Real McCoy, "Justify My Love" from Tess (Not a Madonna song), Mr Presidant with "Coco Jamboo" and "Sex On The Beach" by T-Spoon.

I'm new, so here we go.

I only noticed maybe two people who actually mentioned some songs outside that rather dismal array of 90's dance tracks
you listed. What was worse was they only covered a particular section of music. Main stream dance/house/hip hop.

I have over 180+ dance tracks from 90's (1990-1995) As I moved from the hip-hop/house night clubs into the more
trance night clubs after 1996 so my music taste changed. While I enjoy alot of the trance stuff that comes out, alas my heart is owned by that small period of time inwhich I spent 5 years clubbing very hard! Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. I even remember the clubs, the night it was called. Best clubbing time I ever had! The vibe was unlike any experience I
have since had.

But sticking around the music you listed, you missed out on some truly HUGE tracks.
Here is a list of songs I think really made my clubbing experience alot more fruitful.
I'll try and keep them in the right rooms!
No particular order either.

House/Hip Hop

Color Me Badd - I Wanna Sex You Up
Crystal Waters - Gypsy Woman
PM Dawn - Set Adrift on Memory Bliss
DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince - Summertime
Jeremy Jordan - The Right Kind of Love This song made me gag, but it pulled the chicks if u could hip grind ;)
Chaka Khan - Ain't Nobody
Nomad - (I Wanna Give You) Devotion
Salt'N'Pepa - You Showed Me (there is a very funky version of this around, I can't find it, but I sure as hell heard it!)

Club/Trance

Faithless - Insomnia any mix will do  ;)
Felix - Don't You Want Me(Candy Girls Remix)
*SIMPLY THE HUGEST TRACK EVER!* Legend B - Lost In Love(Spin Club Mix) I still play this at full blast in the car, windows down!
Guru Josh - Infinity
JX - Son Of A Gun(Red Jerry Remix)
Hyperlogic - Only Me
Yakooza - Cocaine
Dance 2 Trance - Power of the American Natives

Others that feature prominently are
KLF - 3 AM, Last Train to Trancentral, Justified and Ancient
Snap! Power of Snap!
C+C Music Factory (1990-1993)
Black Box (1990)
Technotronic.....and alot of others.

I just looked and I've amassed 196 tracks so far and I haven't began to burn my 1990-1995 cds yet. I'm getting around to it :(
Anyways I might post my list of mp3s for you guys to look at. But only after I've burnt all my cd's. Which will take about 3-4
days straight I think. Holy sheet I almost forgot this track!!!!

Club House - Light My Fire!

Erm....missed a few others....
C+C Music Factory (though I might have mentioned them?)

I'm just going to name cds to save time.

Winterdaze New Legends '95 (first cd I ever bought I think)
Holy Grail Volume One (this is the ten dance commandments you need to know!)
Intoxication Volume One (Volume two is okay)

Back to singles.....

Bass Bumpers, 'The Music's Got Me' and 'Move To The Rhythm'
Beverly - Power of Love *always makes me think of an ex-pash...all good :) *
Quench - Dreams

I wouldn't class Engima's "Sadness Part 1" as a dance song. I always thought of it as a song to chill out too.

By the way what the hell happend to "Sadness Part 2"?

More picks...

"Beautiful Life"--Ace Of Base ~ 1995
"Set U Free"--Planet Soul ~ 1995

Planet Soul's "Set U Free" is a fantastic song.

Euro techno was so cheesy and repetitive... the only ones who liked it were the under 12's  :D

The real club classics came from the US and the UK.

Again, I think this poll looks more like a pop/dance poll rather than a house/club dance one, so I went for Pebbles.

Loved Dance 2 Trance's "Power Of American Natives", but not as much as "Take A Free Fall".

Snap did not have a song called "The Power Of Snap".  The song was called "The Power".

Err...yeah....I kind of made that confusing.  :-[
I didn't mean it literally. The Power of Snap was more a comment than a reference to the actual song 'The Power'.
Snap! was pretty huge, like Black Box, C+C Music Factory.....string of hits.....
