I had a real aversion to this song at first, for some reason. Eventually it stuck on me, though.

Probably, as she was still a saleable name at the time...
MOD TO ADD...yes it was released here - click here and scroll to second item from bottom of the page...
Personally, I've never heard of it...but if it's anything along the lines of 'The Lover In Me' (1988), you can keep it...horrid plastic stuff...
I understand she eventually went into a country music vein...

I havw heard this song and I like it. I liked her late 80's stuff better than her her early 80's stuff. Her late 80's had a harder sound to it than her earlier stuff. She did that song "For Your Eyes Only" which had a Kelly Clarkson"A Moment Like This" feel to it which hit big in the US in 1982.

This record is not listed in the Guinness Book of Hit Singles, so at least it did not reach the 75 position.

What radio station did you tape it off? I've got a version that I taped off the radio from a station called "Atlantic 252". They used to play a whole load of stuff that wasn't released off the radio including:
Corina - Temptation
George Lamond - Bad Of The Heart
Linear - Sending All My Love

No "Atlantic 252" is no longer a radio station. It go replaced by some sports channel (can't remamber the name of it) and now it's a radio station called "RTE Radio 1". The radio station it's self is based in Ireland.
