Sunshine is one word. Not 2 and once again, please check what you type. There is a thing below called a spell check. What you do is you click on it and it helps you sort the spellings out.

Spell Check will not inform you of an error made, for it reads Sun and Shine as two separate words, of which both are spelt correctly.

None of the above that's for sure.
To be honest though i think trying to group songs into top ten or "top 40" is ridiculous because:
(A) there were lots terrible songs & lots of great songs in the 90s, but definatly too many that any one person would have been exposed to in that decade to try & sort them into any order of importance or segnifigacance of any kind.
&
(B) preferences change, including one individual's preferences for their favourite song of a particular decade.

Making the "concept" of actual top 40 charts the most pointless idiotic excercise & a total load of sh!t. Anyone who would buy into that whole idea is a total tool. How many singles or albums an artist sells has no relevence & is totally meaningless, all it tells you is how many idiots bought it. I'm sure milions of people bought Milli Vanilli albums in the 80s but that doesn't mean they made great music. Actually they didn't make any music LOL.

> The "concept" of buying a CD or CD single or even a song as is the norm today is mostly motivated by a specific moment for one individual.

all valid points but i think your looking too deeply into this (just as others are with spelling). this is not some "official list" of the greatest songs of the 90's its a list of personal favorites that you may or may not agree with, someone said skee lo had the best song of the 90's but i personally think that persons retarded. So dont make a big deal about this, your probably just still a little bit jaded from the 90's.....

"Regret" by New Order was a Top 40 hit in 1993 I Believe.  "Barely Barely" by Duncan Sheik was a Top 40 git as well. "Don't Walk Away" by Jade, "Heart Of The Matter" by Don Henley, and "Flood" by Jars Of Clay were Top 40 as well. I have heard of Keith Washington. Never listened to DC Talk or Soulnd Of Blackness however.

Thanks, tv. They're mainstream songs to me since I heard them all on the radio back in the '90s.

I also noticed you and csm1986 listed some Collective Soul. Their new song "Better Now" is one of the few songs I like on radio now. Any thoughts on it?
