I was curious myself when I heard the news.  I did some looking this morning, and came up with nothing.

I searched IMDB for both Skylar Deleon, and his wife Jennifer Henderson-Deleon.  I came up with blanks for each of them.

From what I was able to tell, they only played "extras", and neither of them has any entry on the IMBD, so they never recieved any kind of screen credit for their work.

Odds are, they never made it anywhere in the industry.  There are thousands like that in Southern California.  And I should know, because I did it myself for a while.  You show up at the location the day of the shoot, and sign up.  You get free food from the catering truck, and spend a lot of time waiting around until they call you.  But the pay is not bad, from $35-200 a day, depending on the situation (normally tax free).

"Child Actor", not hardly.  "Minor 2-bit actor" is more like it.  After all, if he or his wife (who he met on the MMPR set) ever had spoken lines, they would have gotten AFTRA or SAG vouchers, and been listed in the credits at some point.  And a search of the AFTRA and SAG database showed no listing of their names either.

For those who do not know who Skylar Deleon is, he and his wife are in jail, suspected of a double murder.  They answered a want ad for a California couple who was selling a sailboat.  They are suspected of killing them, then dumping their bodies overboard (after forcing the couple to sign a power of attorney and a bill of sale).  They were stupid (like most criminals are), and tried to use the power of attorney to draw the couples money out of the bank.

I think they (news people) blew it all out of perportion by saying that he was in the Power Ranger series.  He was just an extra for what, two or three episodes.

This is so true.  I am sure that if I was involved in something like this, they could make a big deal out of my acting experience if they wanted to.  I mean, here is my acting background:

The Beach Boys Movie
Almost Famous
O' Brother, Where Art Thou
Starship Troopers
The Flintstones
Winds Of War
War And Rememberence
Invaders From Mars
Slapstick Of Another Kind

Along with this are numerous parts in History Channel shows, TV pilots that never went anywhere, and a TV series that lasted 1 season (Roomies).  There are some others, but for the life of me I can't remember the names of the projects.  Wanna bet I have worked more then Skylar has?
