The 90s aren't really my forte but there are a few tracks i like, please can you help? this particular one is a dance single from the mid 90s, goes something like "can you see the light? looking for it, searching for it.......... thanks everyone

Sounds like you're looking for "Do You See The Light (Looking For)" by Snap, which came out in 1993.
