Subject: Does anyone remember the short-lived NBC soap opera"Generations"?

Written By: Tony20fan4ever on 11/05/05 at 7:47 pm

I remember Generations, I think it was one of the first soaps that featured an African-American family...Why NBC canceled it I don't understand, I don't think NBC gave it a chance..was it 'too African-American' for some viewers, or what? It's sad when a soap that is new and somewhat different gets the ax.

I often wonder if NBC considered "Generations" too ground-breaking(with African-Americans being prominent on the show)or was Generations in some way 'before its time' or too African-American for viewers?
