Remember MTV used to do music block for different music groups? I remember there were a rock block,r and b blcok,rap blcok,metal block so on

I remember when all MTV was was videos! Now it is like when are the scheduled times for videos because they have so many shows like The Real World, Newlyweds, Ashlee Simpson......so on and so on. I wonder why they ever changed the format. I mean I haven't watched MTV in so long, unless they have some kind of special about the 80s on. VH1 is so much better because they do do blocks of time on 80s stuff which is totally awesome.

120 Minutes, Alternative Nation, Top 20 Countdown, MTV 500,themed weekends, etc.
