::) Here we go again

Just because you people don't like "Rap", does not mean it isn't good music or doesen't have good songs

And guys, please try to remember that this is an American List, and Americans happen to have different taste in music than Europeans, plus we both get different kinds of music played in each of our countries

As a matter of fact, there are some Rap songs left off the list that should be on the list, most notably "Gangsta's Paradise" by Coolio,  "The Crossroads" by Bone Thugs N Harmony, and "Killing Me Softly" by The Fugees  Three very popular songs at the time they were released and great songs, I might add.

Hell, if "Hit Me Baby One More Time" can make this list, then those 3 songs sure as heck should have

Oh, and by the way, just to correct you, there are actually 6 Rap Songs on that list, not 4

TLC - Waterfalls??? Most droning, boring, goes nowhere song EVER!!! For it to be in the top 20 is a joke and discredits the whole 100 Best Song list.

Wewt! And yes. Rap has been growing, sadly, in popularity and some stuff can be considered good. But woowoo! Alanis Morissette <3 She, to me, is #1!

Hate to break it to you, but a lot of people like hip-hop/rap. You don't have to like it, but it is a genre of music that has a lot of fans and should be represented just as much as pop/rock/etc. are represented.

Good lyrics don't make a song. I appreciate the safe sex message but that doesn't forgive the lacklustre melody. Anyway it was a big hit so obviously I'm in the minority.  ;D
