I don't know about some of you, but I remember when wearing plastic pacifiers of all sizes around your neck was a cool thing to do. I had about 100 of them, in all colors and sizes......it was one of the weirdest fads I ever took part in. :-\\

i remember that one movie -- was it boyz in the hood -- where the one character has a pacifier he's sucking on all the time. and he's like 19 or thereabouts. but i'm not sure i remember people wearing pacifiers.

I remember that. I thought it was stupid back then, and I still do today.

A lot of people at my school used to wear pacifier's around there necks. That one fad that I thankfully never took part in.

I remember that fad also thank god i didn't do that! i remember seeing them in high school

pacifiers were/are used by the "raver" crowd. after getting high on ecstacy, body temperature soars to 103+, causing the chills, making one's teeth chatter, the pacifier is used to prevent the grinding/chattering of teeth during the ecstacy induced hysteria.

I remember seeing teenagers wearing them when I was in elementary school and finding it very, very weird.
