I'm trying to identify a song/artist, a one hit wonder--female, I think the song had "satellite" somewhere in the title, kind of poppy song, never heard from her again. ::)

Yes, but you beat me to it.
It is Sleeping sattelite, by Tasmin Archer. it came out in 1991.

I remember this song... I just heard it while shopping at Penney's the other day. ;D
