Subject: Anyone feel melancholy about the '90s?

Whenever I listen to songs from 1996-1999, even if I don't remember when they came out, I feel really nostalgic and sad that those times have past.

I sure do. Particulary when I hear Ordinary World by Duran Duran. Not in your time period though, but still.

Like every time period that has pasted, I do long for it somewhat. I do feel "melancholy" for the early 00s though. Much simpler times, personally. :-\\

I feel the 70s had the greatest feeling of pathos, especially in the movies, which were slowing moving and often quite melancholy.
...Anyway, about the 90s...yeah, I do sort of long for the 90s, but don't feel any particular melancholy about them.
